DataWarner

Hello World!

Hello World! I am David Warner, and this is DataWarner. A single brand for everything I do. This is my website and serves three purposes. First, it acts as a central hub for my web presence. There are links to all my social media accounts and everything else I’m involved in online. Second, it provides a place for me to introduce myself, both personally and professionally, to anyone interested in working with me. Last, it gives me a place to host my portfolio for potential employers. I’m a data analyst focusing on business analysis and always looking for my next opportunity.

Full disclosure, the primary audience for my website is HR managers, recruiters, and other employer type people, as well as the inevitable AI software so many are using to streamline their work. I want to give them a centralized place where they can see my potential to bring value to any position they’re considering me for. That’s also why the only projects I’m including are related to data and business analytics. I have a wide range of interests and tinker in a lot of different areas. If I tried to put them all in one place it would be disjointed and wouldn’t work well to display anything to anyone, no matter what part of my work they were interested in.

Work History

Artech: contracted to Apple: Data Analyst
October 2022 – Present

I analyze client data against company policies along with internal and external sources to assist with on-boarding businesses to a large application. In my current role I’ve developed my data validation skills as I’ve examined data, both directly provided and uncovered through secondary research, related to client businesses. I’ve also expanded my communication skills to assist clients in updating and correcting information, as well as filling data gaps wherever possible through open and honest communication with end users. These insights are used to develop effective training and on-boarding methods and lead to overall ownership of the entire process by myself and the teams involved. Additionally, I analyze and moderate user generated content for accuracy and to ensure it complies with company policy before being included on an app with social aspects.

Springs Window Fashions: Production Technician
June 2012 – October 2022

I monitored and maintained production machinery and the data involved in continuous production. I was also responsible for developing processes to improve production efficiency and present them to the leadership team for approval. In my time in the role, I learned about production expectations, efficiency standards, and secondary considerations such as waste and time loss. I also studied and implemented kaizen practices to further improve the facilities’ overall performance. As a result of this, I was able to increase overall plant efficiency by twelve percent in a one-year period with a continual six percent annual increase for the remainder of my tenure.
