My art is born from the convergence of the wild and the technical. I am a dedicated digital painter specializing in a signature style that I term Fantastical Impressionism—where the meticulous structure of realism meets the expressive gesture of impressionism, all through a lens of the extraordinary and fantastical.
The thematic heart of my work is the tension and harmony found in the interplay between nature and architecture. Inspired by the rugged and beautiful landscapes of Northern Michigan where I live and work, my pieces often feature dream-like structures emerging from or being reclaimed by natural elements. I aim to capture the inherent artistry of the world and transform it through digital narrative.
The digital medium is not just a tool; it is the platform for my vision. Trained in graphic design, I utilize its immense power to build immersive, evocative scenes that tell a complex story. My intention is to do more than simply create an image; it is to craft an experience that resonates deeply, evoking powerful memories and emotions in the viewer.
Presented under my brand, DataWarner, my digital art prints are available as museum-quality pieces on archival paper, suitable for exhibition and private collection. Every brushstroke, color choice, and compositional element is aimed at imbuing the artwork with a unique, compelling narrative.
It won’t surprise anyone that a couple of the goals of this page is to help me show off and sell some art. Unfortunately, its still necessary for me to protect my work by placing a watermark on each of the pieces I share. If you come see them in person or choose to buy a piece, the watermark won’t be included.
